Pre-Order FAQ
Why do we have to Pre-Order? Do you not stock everything?
We try our best to have most models in inventory at all times, but because of demand and seasonality; we sometimes have to sell inventory from an incoming shipment. Depending on the the make and model of the scooter, we do receive shipments every 4-6 weeks.
Are pre-orders refundable?
Pre-orders will be fulfilled in accordance with when the order was placed. Pre-orders are refundable if you change your mind before delivery under the following conditions:
PRE-ORDER CANCELLATION (all orders from Nov 1, 2021, forward)
PayPal & Credit Card: All pre-order cancellations paid with a credit card will be charged a 3% cancellation fee.
Affirm: All pre-orders paid via Affirm will incur a 5% cancellation fee.
Exception: The cancellation fee is not applicable if the product is delayed 30 days after latest stated delivery time.
Although rare, it is important to note that we sometimes have to cancel pre-orders that we are not able to fulfill due to unforeseeable circumstances. In the event that we cancel a pre-order, rest assured that you will get a full refund.
Can you call me when the item is re-stocked?
We unfortunately do not keep a waitlist, so kindly check the product page for the most updated status. We highly encourage you to pre-order to ensure you get the scooter that you want, as sometimes scooters do get sold out before they actiually arrive.
What is the Pre-order process?
Our electric scooter shipments travel by ship and arrive at the Port of Vancouver where they undergo customs examination and clearance. This journey usually takes 2 - 3 weeks. Upon its release to our warehouse, we do a quality inspection with tests on every single vehicle before shipping out to customers. We do this in the order that the pre-order was placed.
Delays are rare, but it happens! As with all shipments containing lithium ion batteries, customs exams can be more detailed than usual and delivery dates may change. The customs office unfortunately does not reveal any release dates to us.
How do I track my Pre-order?
We know waiting can be tough, and we understand! Once the shipment arrives in port for customs examination, we will start updating everyone through email. You can also check the Order Updates page, found at the footer of our website.
What happens after Quality Inspections?
Store Pick-Up: We will call and send you an email when your electric scooter is ready for pick up. For local customers, we encourage you to pick-up in store so we can set up the escooter for you.
Shipping: After inspection and tests, your scooter gets repackaged for shipping out to you. A tracking number will automatically be sent to you by email.
